This is a bit off topic I'm afraid, but I found it so frustrating that I thought I would put this out there just in case someone else is searching for the same thing. My wife sent me a ".3ga" file from her Samsung Galaxy S2 Smart Phone. I couldn't open it in any of the Applications I had on my Mac, so I began trawling forums for an answer. There weren't any!! In the end, I simply tried changing the file extension from ".3ga" to ".MP3", and then I opened it up in QuickTime. IT WORKED! Best of luck ;0)
