Keep an eye on the soil. You’re aiming for damp soil, not dry or waterlogged.
Water regularly and feed weekly with high potash Tomato feed, once the first fruits have set. Pinch out the tips of fruiting shoots after 5th set of leaves to encourage more side shoots and increase crop yield.
Flowers may be hand pollinated using small paint brush or cotton bud. Gently brush centre of the flower, transferring pollen from flower to flower. After a few days flowers begin to die and drop off leaving a small chilli behind.
As plants grow they may require staking.
FACT. Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent disease and allow access to pollinating insects.
