An open offer to those struggling to find work

Here at look, touch & feel - we were recently really inspired by the simple gesture made by a seemingly anonymous Dry Cleaner in the US: And we got to thinking, what can we offer the unemployed? In particular those Young people in the UK that are struggling to get noticed, find the opportunities, or achieve an interview... We just wanted to do something simple, something within our field of expertise, and something that was a genuine offer of help, with no other agenda. This is what we've come up with, we hope it helps someone, and we'd love to get your thoughts?  We've literally come up with this in 10 minutes and are throwing it out there!!

WHYNOTCHOOSE.ME ?

We've gone and bought ourselves a domain name (not another one, Rick!).  We've bought www.whynotchoose.me - and we'd like to offer this up as a place for Young people struggling to find work (you can define Young, we won't ;0).  We will take a copy of your CV, help you to make it more presentable, and host it on this website for you.

We will also: - Give you our Skype address so you can bother us with questions - SEO optimise the page so that people can find you on Google - Give you your own link to the page, that you can send out to prospective employers  (this will be, for example, www.whynotchoose.me/rickyoneill) - Creat your own unique QR Code that links to your page on this site, so that you can print this onto cards or paper CV's for employers to scan and view your page - Give you a login so that you can edit the contents yourself So there it is.  An offer of help.  Maybe it will be useful and make a difference, maybe it's a waste of time - I'm not sure yet.
